Linda Wagoner is a 1976 graduate of Indiana University-Indianapolis School of Law and holds a 1973 B.A. from Indiana University.  She has practiced throughout the State and has previously had offices in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne.  She has served as an assistant federal defender in the Southern District of Indiana.  Throughout her career, she has concentrated upon defending the rights of the wrongfully accused in state and federal court, at both the trial and post-trial stages.  She is qualified by the Indiana Supreme Court to represent those persons facing the death penalty.  She belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Criminal Justice Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Public Defender Council (as has served as president of the two state organizations).  She was an adjunct instructor of trial practice for the Indiana University-Indianapolis school of law.

She lived on Lake James during her Ft. Wayne practice years and retained her home when she moved back to Indianapolis to serve as a federal defender. When her daughter started college, she decided to return to her favorite area of the state as a full-time resident.  She looks forward to the opportunity to serve the legal needs of area residents.
